shanty at Stamsund

If you want to make holiday in Lofoten and Vestvågøy we shall be pleased to offer you our vertical semi-detached fisherman’s shanty to let. On the small holm ”Skjæret”, in central Lofoten, the fisherman’s shanties are situated in beautiful maritime surroundings. ”Skjæret” is connected to the ”mainland” by a bridge, and so you can drive your car up to the shanty door.

Fisherman’s equipment, boats and bicycles may be rented with us, and we shall be happy to recommend you the local sights and point out to you excursion roads and paths.









 

The shanties are approximately equal, and each flat consists of kitchen, sleeping accommodation for 6-8 persons, WC/shower and one attic room.
All year round we welcome guests, all seasons have their special charm in Lofoten. In the springtime the Lofoten fisheries take place. They are for one thing called the most beautiful adventure of spring. Summer time offers bright nights and the midnight sun, mountain tours and excursions on the sea. 
 

The fall offers its exclusive colours and its unique light, and you may gather berries and mushrooms. The mountain tours are greats events, giving brilliant views in the clear autumn air.You may rent the shanty for one week, for several weeks, for the weekend and for one day only. You will find our prices moderate.
 

We also arrange days of experience and conference meetings for groups.
